3 hour taster session Linocut printmaking (course tutor: Stella Yarrow). £50 per session.

You will learn how to translate a visual idea into a design, transfer it to a lino block, cut it safely with traditional lino tools, ink the lino and print it. Stella will guide you in how to use a traditional relief press which gives a consistent high quality print, although we will also cover how to continue your lino printing at home using hand printing.  Lino printing enables you to make multiples of the same design and you will create a small edition of prints to take home.

Suitable for beginners; experienced learners will be able to make a more complex design.
